Patron Programs
Individual Philanthropy is the cornerstone of annual giving at SEO. There’s a variety of giving programs with deepening levels of investment in the young people we serve.
Alumni & Friends
We have 13,000+ alumni and growing. Alumni and friends have opportunities to expand their networks and increase their professional skills. You can donate your time, expertise, or actively help us raise funds.
Planned Giving
There are numerous ways to include SEO in your estate plans or to establish life income plans that benefit SEO.
Foundation and Corporate Grants
Institutional Giving is at the very foundation of philanthropy at SEO. Our family of foundations and corporations who make annual or multi-year grants to SEO are making the world a better place by supporting educational and career opportunities.
Sponsor an SEO Scholar
Individual donors who provide annual support at the $10,000 level and above are eligible to designate their support to Sponsor a Scholar.
College Gap/Loan Sponsorships
Individual donors are invited to make a major multi-year commitment to close the tuition gap that enables our Scholars to attend top-tier/first-choice colleges.
Andrew Golkin Memorial Scholarship Fund
This fund, which provides scholarships and emergency funds to ensure that SEO Scholars persist through college, was established in memory of Andrew Golkin by his friends and family who lost him on September 11, 2001.
Become a Mentor or Volunteer
Giving your time to support the young people SEO serves is one of the most gratifying ways to get involved and make a difference.
Annual Awards Dinner
Each spring, leaders in business, philanthropy, and public service are recognized for their achievements before an SEO audience of more than 1,000 attendees, including SEO Board members, donors, corporate partners, SEO alumni, and community stakeholders.
San Francisco Achievement Benefit
Each fall, the Achievement Benefit brings together members of the SEO Scholars Advisory Board, business leaders, philanthropists, and influential community members to celebrate honorees whose work is transforming educational equity in the Baby Area.
