Scholarships

The SEO Law Impact Scholarship is awarded annually to support promising incoming law students in their pursuit of legal education. SEO Law offers three scholarships each year: one $10,000 scholarship and two $5,000 scholarships. These awards aim to help students cover the costs of tuition, fees, and books, enabling them to focus on their studies and achieve their career aspirations in the legal field.

Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must:

  1. Have taken the LSAT (or GRE or GMAT) and obtained at least one score by the time of application submission.
  2. Have submitted at least one law school application by the time of application submission.
  3. Plan to enroll and attend an ABA-accredited law school in Fall 2025.

Essay Prompts (500 words or less):

  1. Giving Back: One of SEO’s values is giving back—it’s about those who came before you and those who will follow. How have you embodied this principle in your life so far?
  2. Shaping the Legal Profession: If you could change one thing about the legal profession, what would it be and why?
  3. Musical Addendum: If you were to create a musical addendum for SEO Law, what three songs would you include and why?

Scholarship recipients will be notified by September 2025.

About Dayo: Dayo is from Chicago, IL, and Marysville, OH. She earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago, majoring in Law, Letters, and Society and Religious Studies. She also holds a Master of Arts in Religion from Union Theological Seminary. Dayo aspires to redefine possibilities in the legal world by integrating law and theology, aiming to uplift those historically excluded from justice.
